Our Mission
Wendell Berry states that when we have a big problem we look for the big solution. But often there is no big solution, but many small solutions.
The mission of Living Through Loss is two part: to support the individual parent in healing from overdose loss, and to support the individual in reinvesting in community in a meaningful way. The hope is that in supporting the individual through his/her healing journey, we will facilitate generational healing to children and grandchildren. And by encouraging and facilitating a reinvestment in community, we will help to heal the individual and the community in small, tangible ways that will accumulate into something bigger.
